For generating generators for projects, testing generators is very important for the owner to know whether the power supply unit has enough capacity. There are 3 ways to try to download it is to try to download salt, try to download, try to download (real load of the works). For salt load tests only for small capacity machines under 150kVA and safety is not guaranteed, we recommend that you do not apply this form of test load.
1. Preparation
- Prepare actual capacity to test at the generator.
- Prepare fuel for the engine
- Prepare tooling to calibrate the generator
- Prepare the meter to record the record of the load test.
2. Steps to follow
Step 1: Start the generator and run the machine for 10-20 minutes.
Step 2: Check voltage, frequency, viscosity and machine temperature
Step 3: Disconnect the low voltage circuit breakers into the output cabinets and the low voltage power supply for the output cabinets
Step 4: Transfer the ATS source to the generator that supplies power to the entire preferred load for the unit of use
Step 5: Measure the low voltage source for the priority load
Step 6: Turn off the load test for the required load in turn
Step 7: Stop the machine and evaluate the test results.
